Sammer Salah was born in Alexandria. His mother wrote poetry. At nine, he began writing words of his own. At fourteen, he found the guitar.
He left Egypt and kept moving. Hong Kong came first. Italy became home for seven years, and music became his full-time life. More than seventeen countries later, Berlin gave him the freedom to become fully himself onstage.
His music is his soul, his pain and his joy.
